What is the standard size that bridal shops have in their stores when you go in for a session to try dresses?

I’m worried that they won;t have my size in store when i go to look for my gown. I’m a size 14 and I am scared that I will have limited choice when trying on gowns. i would like to avoid the plus size section as i find plus size dresses look like plus size dresses.

I was a size 18 when I went shopping for my wedding gown. I did not have any problem locating dresses that fit my size at traditional bridal salons and I didn’t try on any dresses at David’s. As with any size dress, you have to make sure that whatever dress use select suits your figure and style. Just because a dress is considered plus size does not mean it won’t look flattering. You could be a size 2 and find dress that aren’t particularly flattering for your figure.
