how can i make a chicken pie with a Colman’s chicken supreme ?
im making my girlfriend a chicken pie, she said she likes Colamns chicken supreme sauce mix SO.
my idea is to make a chicken pie with these:
4 chicken breasts
Colmans chicken supreme sauce mix ( made up into a sauce using milk and stuff)
chicken stock cube
bit of olive oil
Some chunks of potato chucked in
quite a lot of small mushrooms fried in butter
Then to top it off im putting puff pastry on it
Im going to serve it with roast potatoes and carrots and peas.
How does that sound to you ? womens opinions count please ! :p
my main concern is that the consistancey of the sauce, i dont want it gloopy but not runny, i need some top tips !
leave the potatoes out of the pie, add mushrooms instead. Use a Knorr chicken cube rather than oxo, if the supreme sauce is too runny stir in some cornflour until you get the thickness you want.
